2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website (crownpet.lk), booking an appointment, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

3. Our Services

Crown Pet provides pet care services across five areas: veterinary hospital care, dental care, pet hotel boarding, grooming salon, and a pet store. Each service is subject to availability and may have its own specific terms communicated at the point of booking or purchase.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

4. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments can be made via our website contact form, telephone, or WhatsApp. A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from a Crown Pet team member.

• Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened consultation or rescheduling.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
• Repeated no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future bookings.

5. Payment & Fees

All fees for services are communicated at or before the point of service. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Crown Pet accepts cash and major card payments. We are not responsible for any bank or transaction fees incurred by the client.

6. Your Pet's Health & Safety

You confirm that any pet brought to Crown Pet is under your ownership or that you have the owner's authorisation to seek care on their behalf. You agree to disclose accurate and complete information about your pet's health history, vaccinations, and known conditions.

Crown Pet will take all reasonable care when handling your pet. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes from veterinary or dental treatments, and we are not liable for any adverse reactions or complications arising from a pre-existing condition that was not disclosed to us.

All pets entering Crown Pet premises must be up to date with core vaccinations. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any animal we believe poses a risk to the health of other animals or our staff.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crown Pet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our website or services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

8. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems.
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material.
• Introduce any viruses, trojans, or other malicious material.
• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any content from our website without written permission.

11. Online Store & Product Purchases

Crown Pet operates an online store through its website where customers may purchase pet food, accessories, supplements, and other pet care products. By placing an order through our store, you agree to the following terms in addition to these general Terms & Conditions.

Product Descriptions & Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing displayed on our website are accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the site are error-free. If a product you receive is materially different from its description, please contact us at info@crownpet.lk.

Pricing & Availability

All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order where a pricing error has occurred.

Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email or WhatsApp. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — it is an acknowledgement that we have received it. A binding agreement between you and Crown Pet is formed only when your order has been dispatched or is ready for collection.

Delivery

Delivery timelines and charges will be communicated at the point of checkout. Crown Pet is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon delivery.

Buyer Responsibility

It is the buyer's sole responsibility to ensure that any product purchased is suitable for their pet before completing a purchase. We strongly encourage you to review all product details, ingredients, and specifications carefully. If you are unsure whether a product is appropriate for your pet, please consult one of our veterinary team members before ordering.

12. Return Policy

Crown Pet does not accept returns or exchanges on any products purchased through our online store. All sales are final.

We encourage all customers to review product descriptions, ingredient lists, sizing information, and suitability details thoroughly before completing a purchase. If you have any questions about a product prior to buying, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you in making the right choice for your pet.

By completing a purchase on our store, you acknowledge that you have made an informed buying decision and accept that no refund, return, or exchange will be offered once the order has been placed.

The only exception to this policy is where a product arrives visibly damaged or is proven to be defective upon delivery. In such cases, please contact us at info@crownpet.lk within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence, and we will assess the matter on a case-by-case basis.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
